Bangladesh Legal Aid and Service Trust (BLAST) is the country’s largest legal services NGO, offering a range of services like legal advice, mediation, and litigation in both informal and formal justice systems. With over 300 staff and a network of 2,600+ pro bono lawyers, BLAST also engages in research, advocacy, and capacity building. Its current project addresses gender-based violence by improving legal resources for survivors, both online and offline. Key initiatives include the Rape Law Reform Coalition (RLRC), advocating for rape law reforms and victim support, and the Cyber Support for Women and Children (CSWC), focusing on online safety, literacy, and public education.
