Azadi is a survivor-led organisation whose goal is to create spaces and programmes that enhance the agency of survivors of trafficking, to support recovery from trauma and to sustain their reintegration into society.
In line with its mission, Azadi works to empower survivor leaders to reintegrate into society as healed and thriving individuals, with their mental health and safety placed at the center of all interventions.
The organization adopts a trauma-informed approach that nurtures healthy relationships and a strong sense of community, recognizing the essential role these elements play in the healing process.
Azadi’s programs emphasize holistic well-being, prioritizing both physical and emotional safety. Safe and supportive spaces are created where survivors feel protected and respected, with access to a range of therapeutic options that honor personal autonomy and individual healing journeys.
By fostering peer connections, Azadi helps build a supportive community in which survivors can rely on one another, share lived experiences, and grow together, ultimately reclaiming their place in society as empowered individuals.
