Bangladesh Disabled Development Trust (BDDT), a non-profit active since 2009, works to uplift structurally excluded individuals, primarily Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Their core activities include human rights and good governance, advocacy, rehabilitation, education/trainings, capacity development, feminist approaches, income generation, menstrual hygiene, and emergency aid.

A significant focus is the empowerment of adolescent girls and women with disabilities through programs addressing employment, rehabilitation, hygiene, and safety. To combat GBV, BDDT runs an Accommodation Facility for Visually Impaired Girls and actively engages with the UNFPA GBV Cluster. The FON project is enabling BDDT to enhance its leadership, advocacy, and decision-making through a gender-equal and feminist framework, specifically empowering women with disabilities.
