Faced with limited resources and weak economic growth, Burkina Faso is plagued by endemic poverty and persistent inequalities, generating an intergenerational transfer of precariousness. To counter this reality, the Centre d’Étude et de Prospection en Développement Solidaire (C.E.PRO.DE.S) was created in 2021 to combat social and economic inequalities, including gender-based violence, in order to improve the conditions of vulnerable people, particularly women.
