Justicia Feminist Network, Bangladesh’s first legal feminist network led by young women lawyers (founded in 2016), advocates for gender justice through research, law reform, and capacity building. Focusing on GBV, cyber violence, and SRHR, they drive policy change and empower communities. They also offer consultancy services to promote inclusive practices and ensure financial sustainability. The FON-project aims to strengthen Justicia’s organizational capacity by developing governance policies, conducting workshops, establishing an advisory group, creating a fundraising strategy, and acquiring operational tools. This will ensure the long-term sustainability of their work in advocating for gender-sensitive legal reform, supporting women lawyers, and providing legal aid to marginalized communities, ultimately challenging systemic gender inequalities.
