Solidarité Suisse Guinée (SSG) is a non-governmental organization founded in 2011 and based in Guinea and Geneva. The organization works to combat poverty, promote sustainable economic, social, and environmental development, strengthen democratic governance, and advance human rights in the Republic of Guinea.

SSG promotes the empowerment of women and young people through vocational training, agroecological support, and initiatives aimed at preventing and responding to gender-based violence (GBV). The organization provides medical, psychosocial, legal, and socio-economic assistance to GBV survivors, sex workers, and LGBT communities, while strengthening community awareness and local capacities.

SSG’s work is implemented through structured, collectively organized partner groups, including market gardening cooperatives, social protection mutuals, artisan associations, and other community-based organizations, united by a shared commitment to improving economic resilience and social well-being.
